Mercurius Real Estate buys residential building with 42 units near ECB

Mercurius Real Estate AG has expanded its real estate portfolio with a building complex in Frankfurt's Ostend. The residential property near the Ostendstraße S-Bahn stop dates from 1960 and comprises 42 residential units on an area of around 2,100 square metres. In addition, there are two commercial units with a total of around 600 square meters.

At the latest since the European Central Bank moved into the quarter, Ostend has become a flourishing district. Restaurants, shopping and leisure facilities are within walking distance of the building in Hölderlinstraße - including the Alte Feuerwache with two large supermarkets and Frankfurt Zoo. Suburban trains, underground trains and trams stop practically on the doorstep.

Mercurius Real Estate will expand its portfolio to around 100 million euros in the coming years. The focus is on classic apartment buildings in Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding area, which have potential for expansion. Further properties from the Rhine-Main area are currently being examined and are close to completion.
